Course Description
Animal Cruelty 101 will help you become more familiar with the concepts and causes associated with animal cruelty, the connection between animal abuse and interpersonal violence (violence directed towards people,) laws that address mistreatment of animals, and things you can do to make a difference.
Humane Academy courses are for students aged 13-22 and may count toward a service requirement. Entire student classes and groups can be enrolled upon request.

This is a self-paced course. You log on at your convenience to read the course materials, take quizzes, and submit any other assignments. Most students complete this course within a few weeks.
