In order to work towards a just and humane world, the School of Continuing Education offers a variety of courses to help those in the animal sheltering and greater humane community augment their training and sharpen their skills in leadership, finances, and non-profit management.
HSU offers both animal-centric and human-relations-centric courses, to benefit not only animal shelters and humane groups, but also other organizations and individuals seeking to build their skills in personnel management, financial planning and management, Board development and other areas. These skills can be used in any endeavor or business. The courses have been developed by trained experts, using the latest business models and educational techniques.
