Humane Animal Euthanasia Online Training
This online video program was produced by Animal Care Training (ACT) in collaboration with Humane Society University and The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).
This online course is designed to orient shelter staff and ACO's to safely and humanely euthanize an animal when this becomes necessary. This online video course covers many of the essentials of euthanasia, including:

This 5-hour course is designed to provide the educational foundation prior to a hands-on educational program. The success of a euthanasia technician is based on a blend of knowledge and hands-on training. This course will certainly provide that educational training. Your state may accept this program as the classroom portion of your euthanasia training.
The course was developed by renowned veterinarian and educator, Dr. David Grant. Dr. Grant has taught this material to thousands of euthanasia technicians all over the United States. He has also authored the chapters on euthanasia for the National Animal Control Association Manual.
This Approved Online Euthanasia Training Course covers all of the required objectives through videos, selected articles and web sites, and exam. This euthanasia training course can be taken at anytime, anywhere a high-speed internet connection is available (computer speakers are needed for videos). The complete online euthanasia training review course including online exam costs $129 per student. You will need a credit card to sign up. The euthanasia training course will take approximately 4-6 hours to complete and is worth 5 hours of CE credit. Your results and certificate will be emailed to you upon completion.
