Humane Society University is excited to announce, for the first time, HSU's School of Arts and Sciences and Department of Professional Studies can be found in the same web site!
The web site is broken into four main categories, which are discussed below.
About the School of Arts and Sciences
Humane Society University's School of Arts and Sciences offers undergraduate degrees and graduate certificates in Animal Studies, Animal Policy & Advocacy, and Humane Leadership.
Baccalaureate degrees and graduate certificates can be completed onsite at our Washington, DC campus, or completely online with a flexible schedule that suits you best!
About the Department of Professional Studies
Humane Society University's Department of Professional Studies offers five certificate programs and nearly 60 specialized, non-credit courses available online. Additionally, HSU offers on-site workshops locally-instructed throughout the United States and Canada.
Workshop topics covered include: animal fighting investigations, emergency animal sheltering, and confronting compassion fatigue.
Certificate programs and non-credit course topics include: mastering animal sheltering basics, animals in disasters, leading change, and humane education.
About the Humane Career Center
Humane Society University's Humane Career Center features a variety of resources to help begin or enhance careers helping animals, including job descriptions, educational requirements, salary information, and much more. This is a valuable resource for anyone considering a career working with or helping animals!
